What's new at Expansive this month?
This month we've continued to improve our asset management process by introducing asset lifecycle management, alongside introducing custom fields for assets and sites as well as bulk export and importing tooling.
Custom Fields: Tailor Your Data for Maximum Clarity
- Organise Your Way: Introducing custom fields! You can now create and manage custom fields for both your Sites and Assets within a dedicated settings area. This allows you to capture and track specific data points that are unique to your operations, giving you a more tailored and informative overview of your facilities.
- Flexibility at Your Fingertips: Need to update existing custom fields associated with a specific Site? No problem! Our new update gives you the power to easily modify any custom fields you've created, ensuring your data remains accurate and reflects any changes.
- Filter for Focus: We've enhanced the Site and Asset Index by adding a filter for each custom field and their values. This powerful tool allows you to quickly find the custom data you're looking for.
Asset Lifecycle Management: Gain Deeper Insights
- True Asset Value: We've improved the creation of asset types by adding a new Residual Value field. This allows you to capture the remaining value of an asset once it's fully depreciated, providing a more comprehensive picture of your asset portfolio.
- Lifecycle at a Glance: Understanding the lifecycle of your assets is now easier than ever. A new tab on the asset view screen displays insightful details such as purchase cost, depreciation to date, net book value, and the all-new residual value. With this information readily available, you can make informed decisions about asset maintenance, replacement, and overall lifecycle management.
Bulk Import & Export: Boost Efficiency and Save Time
- Seamless Asset Onboarding: Importing your assets onto the platform just got easier! Our new bulk import feature allows you to create new assets or update existing ones in bulk. This saves you valuable time and ensures your asset data is uploaded quickly and efficiently.
- Data Export Made Simple: Need a detailed overview of your Assets or Sites for further analysis? Our new export functionality lets you easily generate a list of your Assets or Sites, along with all their related details. This provides a valuable resource for further data manipulation and reporting.
